Software
The etools software code is a stand alone post processor for ETABS (v.8) which utilises the analysis capabilities of ETABS in order to design R/C buildings according to the Greek Concrete and seismic Code.
The main features of the program are:

- Separate editor for RC wals which includes all the specific characteristics (edge columns, minimum dimensions etc)
- Preparation of the state nonlinear analysis (pushover) model by inserting the nonlinear hinges according to the results of the design and FEMA 356 guidelines

- Visual supervision of the results using colored histograms indicating the failure or design type for each member
- Direct access to each member results by clicking the histogram bar.
