Aristotelis Veniamin, Dipl. CE AUTh

Aristotelis is a Civil Engineer with more than twenty years of experience in the design, construction and management of building and infrastructure projects. He graduated from the School of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001, having also studied at Université Paris-Dauphine (Paris IX).

He has practised since 2001 as an independent engineer in Thessaloniki, preparing architectural, structural and mechanical studies for a wide range of private buildings in reinforced concrete, steel and timber, and supervising their construction. In 2006 he co-founded the technical and construction company TERRACON, through which he has designed, built and managed residential, commercial and industrial buildings, including the refurbishment and extension of listed buildings in Ano Ladadika and facade restorations in central Thessaloniki. Since 2018 he has been responsible for detailed design and site supervision with Makridis & Associates SA on projects such as playgrounds and the “IANOS” rehabilitation centre for the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and the reconstruction of hotels in Crete, Corfu and Zakynthos.

His key strengths are construction management and site supervision from the side of the designer, the contractor and the supervising engineer, together with a thorough knowledge of Greek building and permitting legislation. With Penelis he has supported site supervision of reinforced concrete and steel buildings. He also has a long-standing interest in bioclimatic design.
