The scope of Penelis Consulting Engineers SA consisted of the design verification of the IFC design as the contractors main structural consulant.
The verification demonstrated issues with the twist of the twoes under gravity loads which required an increased torsional stiffness.
All the analyses were done using Etabs2015 and Scia Engineer 18.1.
The required modification on behalf of the client was done by Thorton-Tomasseti and Pericleous Engineering, which replaced the original structural design team.
