The Link Buillding 1 is located between the two hangars of the old airport of Ellinikon, which hosts Olympic sports installations and infrastructure. The specified building serves as the E&M support installation for the sports arenas constructed within the two hangars (basketball and fencing courts). The building consists of six individual three storey moment resisting R/C frames constructed during the 1970's. Following the specifications for all Olympic installations the building was strengthened to comply with the provisions of the current at the time Greek codes (Concrete and Seismic Code 2000).
