The building located al the corner of Stadiou & Korai streets in Athens is a four storey unreinforced masonry building of the beginning of the 20th century. The solution selected was the preservation of the two facades of the building and the reconstruction of the interior with a new R/C structure providing for two underground floors. A special temporary solution was designed for the suspension of the two facades during construction.
